University of Science and Technology Beijing is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. In 2017, it was selected into “Double First-Class” construction universities. If an international student with an X visa needs to participate in an off-campus internship or part-time job while in China, they should first obtain the consent of the University of Science and Technology Beijing, and then submit the consent of the university. Schools and employers that do off-campus internships or part-time jobs should apply to the immigration management department to add a note on their residence permit. Only after this, the international students of the University of Science and Technology Beijing can engage in off-campus internship activities.
